Flower vs Felton: Two Dubiously Debunked Shakespeare Portraits

The Felton Portrait (left, Folger Library) and the Flower Portrait (right)

Here are two fascinatingly and perhaps dubiously debunked portraits of Shakespeare--each of which contains enough intrigue and scandal to fill its own book.  Nobody to my knowledge has ever discussed the remarkable similarities between the Felton portrait (left) and the Flower portrait (right).  These similarities go far beyond their equally intriguing similarities to Droeshout engraving of 1623.  Was one of these portraits the long-lost template portrait to the Droeshout?
